Superheroes don’t change the world. Ordinary people do!
The IE in our name stands for I’m Enough. We believe ordinary people can create real change in the world.
Redefining what serving others looks like by focusing on connection, character, & progress.
Ordinarie Heroes is dedicated to addressing educational and health disparities so young people can succeed.
Our passion is empowering young people, from historically marginalized communities, to reach their fullest potential, while working to bring food justice to the communities they live in. Through youth mentoring and community wellness programs, we provide a range of services to partner with and empower vulnerable communities. Our youth programs serve young people of color with services ranging from group sessions on violence and substance use prevention/trauma to tutoring support and post-secondary educational assistance. Our community wellness programs focus on food stability and nutrition education initiatives for low-income communities through our mobile food pantry and educational farm programs.
We’re dedicated to helping youth reach their full potential.

Promoting food stability and health and wellness is a priority for us.
We believe in a holistic approach to serving youth. That means caring for the environments they live in along with caring for them. Our community wellness focus is on making sure individuals and families have access to the nutritional foods and education that help ensure healthy lives. A lack of access to healthy meals contributes to a deadly cycle of health issues, especially within Black and brown communities. Building healthy communities means first creating healthier lives. Our mobile pantry and educational farm help bring fresh produce and shelf-stable food items right to our neighbors’ “front door”, while our nutrition education workshops provide the tools for families to live healthier lives at home.
